Magazine Advert.

Below are the pictures of our finished magazine advert (in black and white, and colour).

To create our magazine advert, after lots of experimenting with Adobe Photoshop, we decided to use Microsoft Publisher.

Our first idea was to try and have a mirror reverse of the two main characters. This meant that we would have the girl character (me) looking in to the mirror seeing the boy character (Ryan) and vice versa. This proved to be the most difficult task to complete, as we had to try and line up the two images together and try to match the lighting on both. The images are different sizes, as we did not want a too structured layout, to reflect the song title 'Paranoia'. We feel it relates to the song and band more, especially with the tag line "Go mad for Paranoia".

For our background image, we used a previous picture taken of our film location reflected horizontally. The church is a contradiction to the character's lose of sanity.
The reflection of the church upside down is an emphasize on her life. It is an exaggeration of how her life has been turned upside down because of recent events shown in the video.

We have included 'reviews' from specialist rock magazines Q and Kerrang. At the bottom, we have also added a link to the band's actual website, further promoting the band and their music.
Like a typical promotional poster, we have also added a date which shows when the bands' album is released.
The font name we used for 'Paranoia' was 'Chiller', as we felt it added the thriller effect to the text.
